About the Alumni Club
We are known as the Sunshine Coast Newcomers Alumni Club. We are a vibrant, friendly club catering to a wide variety of interests, tastes and needs. You can take part in everything or just one activity – it is entirely up to you. It is run by the members for the members. We are a member of the National Newcomers Association Canada (NNAC).
Purpose
The purpose of the Sunshine Coast Newcomers Alumni Club is to continue to build on the friendships created as members of the Sunshine Coast Newcomers Club. New friendships will also be developed as members of the Newcomers Club join the Alumni.
Membership
To become a member of the Sunshine Coast Newcomers Alumni Club (SCNA) a person must complete three (3) years of active membership (in good standing) in the Sunshine Coast Newcomers Club (SCNC). Upon completing three years of active membership in SCNC, members complete a membership form and pay the annual SCNA fee.
Shared Events
SC Alumni are welcome to attend SC Newcomers coffee mornings and pub nights (based on space availability). See the Alumni newsletter for events, dates, and RSVP requirements.
